WHERE NATURE IS THE TEACHER

We host nature-based wellbeing experiences, holistic learning, and community gatherings rooted in the principles of eco-therapy, nature connection and regenerative living.

Our work is grounded in the growing evidence that time in nature supports mental health, builds resilience, and helps us feel more human again.

WELCOME

Welcome — we’re so glad you found us.

We’re a family of three who chose to slow down, live closer to the land and create the kind of community we wished existed when life felt busy and disconnected.

Five years ago, we were gifted this beautiful 4.5-acre forest garden in Winchester and since then we’ve been learning, growing and gently re-imagining what “home” and “education” can look like.

Today, Jolly Moon Forest Garden is a living, evolving ecosystem where wildlife flourishes — and people do too.

Nurturing Minds

Life is an education and nature serves as the best teacher, imparting wisdom and lessons that are often overlooked.

In the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, we often forget to pause and observe the intricate details of the natural world around us. Whether it’s the resilience of a tree weathering a storm or the delicate balance of an ecosystem, nature demonstrates the importance of adaptability, patience and harmony.

By engaging with the environment, we not only broaden our understanding of the world but also cultivate a sense of responsibility towards it. Just as a student absorbs knowledge from a dedicated teacher, we too can learn invaluable life lessons from the beauty and complexity of nature, guiding us on our journey forward.

Forest School (Pre school)

Jolly Moon is a place where you and your child can come learn & explore the natural world, make seasonal crafts and eat yummy snacks on the fire but most of all PLAY.

See you in the woodland
